Sleep Harvester® mattresses are handmade by our expert craftsmen using the finest materials proven to enhance your sleep quality and comfort experience. We have compiled the following mattress care guide for you to prolong the lifespan of your investment so that you continue to reap the benefits for years to come.

USE A CORRECT MATTRESS FOUNDATION
Your mattress foundation should be sturdy and durable to support the combined weight of your mattress and the sleeping partners. This foundation could be a simple divan base, a bed frame or an ottoman bed. For the slatted foundation, ensure that the distance between two slats should not exceed 7 cm. The Sleep Harvester® guarantee will become void if a wrong or broken foundation was used as it will damage the mattress and affect the mattress performance.

BEFORE FIRST USE
Your Sleep Harvester® mattress is freshly made and packed using the virgin materials. Therefore, your mattress will have some natural but harmless odour (as that of a new car, fresh paints or varnish) when unpacked. We do air some components before we assemble the mattress to minimize the odour. Leave the room well-ventilated for up to 6 hours (or more if required) to circulate the fresh air. It may take longer to completely dissipate the odour depending on the degree of ventilation, weather condition and humidity of the room. Most of the mattresses have the traces of or no odour after 72 hours of ventilation.

USE A MATTRESS PROTECTOR
Your Sleep Harvester® mattress is your important investment into your sleep health. Therefore, it is of paramount importance that you keep it in good (protection against damage) and hygienic condition (clean and fresh) to get the maximum benefit. Protect your mattress with a good quality protector which will safeguard your mattress from staining and maintain its performance. We recommend a breathable protector as our mattresses are breathable and as a user you want to maintain this benefit of your mattress.

HANDLE WITH CARE
Your Sleep Harvester® mattress can be heavy and you may require two people to handle it while rotating, turning, lifting or moving. Use the handles (some mattresses do not come with handles) installed to rotate or turn the mattress. Do not use the handles to lift or move the mattress as it might damage your mattress. Neither attempt to bend or roll your mattress to prevent the irreversible damage. Furthermore, do not sit on the mattress edges for a long period of time as it breaks the edge to edge support down and your mattress will become deformed. Do not stand or jump on the mattress. Last but not least, your mattress is designed for your sleep and therefore it must be kept in a flat position. This safeguards the various component of the mattress.

EXPECT SOME MATTRESS INDENTATION
Your Sleep Harvester® is designed to prevent the indentation. However, any unsafe or irresponsible use of your mattress will develop an indentation. Your mattress is safe to use on our above recommended foundations up to 6 cm deep indentation as it will neither affect its performance nor your sleep quality. Furthermore, you should expect some body impressions on your mattress (a normal and natural aspect) which suggest that you sleep in a particular sleeping position for long and the comfort core is taking your shape to cuddle you for your body pressure relief.

ROTATE OR TURN YOUR MATTRESS
Your Sleep Harvester® must be rotated (if one sided) or rotated and turned (if both sided) to extract the maximum benefit from it. Rotate your one sided mattress every 2 weeks for the first 6 months and then once every 4 weeks. This ensures the even distribution of comfort core under your body weight for natural body impression and preventing mattress indentation. Rotate and turn your both sided mattress every 2 weeks for first 6 months and then once every 4 weeks. You will need to alternate between flipping the mattress over and rotating it from head end to foot end. This ensures the even distribution of comfort core under your body weight for natural body impression and preventing mattress indentation.

DEMOISTURISE YOUR MATTRESS
Your Sleep Harvester® mattress is designed to take moisture away from your body for your cool and comfortable sleep. To maintain this benefit, you should air your mattress once in 2 weeks. This can be done by removing all the beddings (mattress protector or mattress liner, mattress sheet, topper etc.) from the mattress for a few hours and leave the door and windows of the room open to expedite the aeration process

UPKEEP YOUR MATTRESS
Your Sleep Harvester® mattress can easily be maintained for prolonging its lifespan and performance. Use a soft brush to remove the dust and fluffy materials gathered on the mattress surface whilst avoiding the use of a vacuum cleaner or a hard brush as this can damage the mattress fabric and integrity of the mattress. Try to stand your mattress vertically to treat the spills immediately as it will minimize the absorption and staining. Furthermore, use a dry towel and compress it on the spilled spot to absorb the moisture as much as possible. Then use a slightly damp towel to spot clean. Do not use any harsh cleaning detergent or bleach to clean.
