We at Sleep Harvester Ltd (SHL) offer up to 10 year guarantee on our innovative premium grade mattresses, 1 or 2 years guarantee on other mattresses and 3 year guarantee on our accessories. To take advantage of this guarantee, you need to save your order confirmation receipt in case your product has any manufacturing or materials defect. We will need to see a proof of purchase to honour this guarantee. Our guarantee cover starts from the date of delivery and ends on the last day of the 10th year for premium grade mattresses, 1st or 2nd year for other mattresses and 3rd year for accessories from the date of the delivery.

Sleep Harvester® Guarantee Cover

Our products are designed, developed and manufactured in the UK and are made to meet the stringent British Fire Resistant Regulations. This guarantee is limited to the mattress core (foams, fillings and innerspring) and the accessories core (timber, foams and lifting mechanism). This guarantee does not apply to the mattress fabric, mattress handles and other upholstery made up of fabric. We will replace or repair the product if any of the below given symptoms appear in your product:

  1. Defect in materials or craftsmanship - it means if there is a physical flaw (i.e. split or crack or tear) in the material due to normal domestic use
  2. Dipping/sagging/indentation of your mattress by 6 cm (2.5 inches) resulted from a normal domestic use and not due to use on an unsuitable surface

Whilst reporting a fault, you will need to submit the photographic evidence of the fault (for example- if the fault is with your mattress, please send a few photos of the mattress from different angles and the bed on which this mattress was used). In case of dispute regarding fair domestic use of our product, we will send that product to an independent laboratory for testing. If the results confirms that the product wasn’t used appropriately at your end, you will need to bear all the expenses of this testing (including transportation charges from your place to the laboratory and back to your address, testing fees and our administration charges). If the results confirm the indigenous fault with our product, we will bear all the cost. Furthermore, we reserve the right to (at the time of repair or replacement) substitute the product or materials should the original no longer available. In such a situation, we will repair or replace the product with the same or better quality materials or product available at that time. This does not affect your (purchaser) statutory rights.

When will the Sleep Harvester® guarantee become void?

Your guarantee will become void if:

  1. The product is intentionally damaged
  2. The product has stains, spillage, intentional splits and burns
  3. The product was not maintained as per the Care Instructions supplied or as per the product information given
  4. If our product is intentionally altered at your end
  5. If the mattress is used on a slated bed with more than 7 cm distance between two slats
  6. The mattress is not rotated every 2 weeks for first 6 months and once every 4 weeks thereafter (for one sided mattress)
  7. The mattress is not rotated and turned every 2 weeks for first 6 months and once every 4 weeks thereafter (for both sided mattress)
  8. The product is sold by a reseller or used by someone other than the owner making a claim
  9. The product is sold as refurbished, reconditioned, used, returned or any wording which indicates that the product is not new

In addition to above, it is important for you to know that:

  1. Due to use, mattresses become softer with time. It means they do not necessarily have the same feel when you bought them the first time.
  2. The images shown on our website are for illustration only. Our product may look slightly different than the one delivered, however there will never be a compromise on quality of our product.
  3. The border of your mattress may come with different style, colour or pattern without quality compromise
  4. Do not use the mattress without bed linen
  5. Your mattress is for sleeping. Do not sit on the mattress edges for a long time as the mattress will break down.
  6. If it is one sided mattresses then sleep only on the sleeping side
  7. Do not use the mattress on an unsuitable or broken base
  8. Do not use the mattress on a slatted bed if the distance between 2 slats is more than 7 cm
  9. Do not try to roll or bend the mattress
  10. Do not assemble your bed, headboard and ottoman improperly as this will damage the product

Will I need to submit an evidence of fault to make my claim?

You will need to submit the following to process your claim:

  1. Proof of purchase
  2. Your name and address
  3. Description of problem/complaint
  4. Photographs showing faults, defects or dipping/sagging/indentation of mattress or your accessories (divan bed, ottoman bed, bed frame, ottoman box or headboard) which you bought from us
  5. Photographs showing surface of the bed on which the mattress has been used
